Ada macam best title tu??? kekeke...the title was inspired by Din, due to the mummy's obsession of having Lia at the end of the daugther's name. As the title implied, and as I have promised, here is an update of our get-away....me attending consortium+conference, and them.....enjoying the city...Sydney. Not quite sure how to cerita on this...so, i will just put up a picture or two of places we go, and try to jot a few things i remember about it. The rest of the photos.....tgk kat facebook saya, okeh (Upload kat facebook cam senang sket la...sebab banyak daa gambar2 itu). Here goes...
Depart from Auckland, 1st July. We took Airbus, the cheapest transportation mode from airport to Auckland (I guess....). Adelia suka naik bus...nak naik sendiri....pastu sentiasa mau pilih seat blakang skali. This time we really concentrate on Auckland-airport journey, because when we first come July , 2007....tak sempat nak enjoy the journey pasal so tiada arah tujuan baru sampai negara orang...
Depart from Auckland, 1st July. We took Airbus, the cheapest transportation mode from airport to Auckland (I guess....). Adelia suka naik bus...nak naik sendiri....pastu sentiasa mau pilih seat blakang skali. This time we really concentrate on Auckland-airport journey, because when we first come July , 2007....tak sempat nak enjoy the journey pasal so tiada arah tujuan baru sampai negara orang... Welcome to Sydney.....at the Sydney airport. Three hours flight from Auckland...but time different is 2 hours lewat. Camne pun tetap sudah gelap....luckily, shuttle to city has been arranged beforehands. For the night, we stayed at the Oxford Residential apartment. I recommend this for those who want to go to Sydney + with family/kawan > 3 orang + yang tak nak makan luar pasai ada dapur boleh masak + yang nak bawak baju sikit pasal ada in house washing machine and dryer....quite close to everything. Citer menarik pasai apartment ni : we got it free for that night. Stayed there for 4 days, but paid for 3 days only. Pasal sampai2 malam itu... skali bilik kami belum cuci ler. Tengok2, bukan la teruk sangat, so we just accept it as it is. Lagipun, kesian gak sama itu orang, banyak kali apologising....hari pun sudah malam and too penat to demand lebih2. AND.....luckily, I have my 'personal housekeeper', imported from Rydges Hotel, Auckland......hehehehe....which is my very own husband. So, malam itu...Din pun tunjuk la skill sket2, mengemas apa yg patut...sepertimana yang dia buat hari2 kat Rydges.
2nd July : Just jalan2 at Oxford St. I thought it's going to be something there...as it is listed as one of the shopping area in Sydney....rupanya it's just like Karangahape Road aje. Memang la ada shops....but, more like for art supplies, books, baju2 etc....not my cup of tea....or maybe there is another side of Oxford St, that I didn't go to?? I don't know...
This picture is dedicated to Nabila a.k.a Nab, Cik babysitter Adelia. Patut ler banyak je modal you nak shopping eh Nab....you got your own bank rupanya....hehehe...
I guess this is Hyde Park....a few minutes walk from Oxford S...and it's a nice park in the city. It has the Anzac Memorial... weird-looking birds....and Adelia's most favourite thing : pool with ducks.....
And then, we're off to Cogee Beach...about 20 minutes from CBD. Quite a nice place, but it's too cold for Adelia to enjoy it.
Goodbye mummy....I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Cogee Beach, while they have to go back to the city. Adelia managed to attract attention....by crying on the bus, all the way from Cogee Beach to the city....and people looked at Din as if he's kidnapping her...or some sort. Hehehe...she went "I want mummy...i want mummy'......all the way.
3rd to 4th July : While I was at the conference....this picture gives some idea of what they've been doing. Lunch at the park....bird feeding....and picture taking, of course. Not many picture are taken, as budak itu busy mengejar birds at the park.....no time to pose-lah...
5th July : went to Newcastle, to visit a fellow friend, Nono and her daughter, Julia. This is a picture taken on the three hours journey.....this time, we chose 'train' to fulfill one of the objective of this trip, which is 'to try all kind of public trasportation available'. Terengganu takde train, beb.....hehehehe.
Newcastle.....fountain dekat ngan train station, while waiting for Nono to pick us up.
And the wait pays off, as we were quickly being brought to rumah gadis-gadis sunti ini....and dijamu makan nasi lemak, and two versions of sambal udang....aiyooo..sedap, seh. Thanks ye..
Adelia and Julia : main...gaduh...nangis....main lagi....gaduh...nangis...main lagi....dah nama budak2 kan. Both are 'only child' (as for now).....so, you know la kan camne. And Adelia ni terminat plak ngan Nono's head cover....apsal, anakku??? That night, Nono served us 'kepok and teh tarik'......really feel like being in Malaysia (ignoring the weather...). Nono.....aku teringat2 teh tarik mu itu.....dok jadi pung aku wak????
As usual.....Din is being the entertainer, melayan 2 orang budak makan meehoon. Julia is a few months older than Adelia....tapi, Adelia is so kecik, eh? Ala...mak dia dulu pun sampai Tingkatan 3 asyik kena dok kat depan skali bila beratur time assembly....paling kecik, okay. Skarang, tidak la lagi....
6th July : Nono took us to Koala Reserve....and this is the picture of 2 orang budak melayan perasaan tengok duck. 
dan......2 orang budak cuba mengumpan kangaroo dengan daun2....tapi kangaroo buat dono aje.....best ye makanan ko kangaroo...sampai tak layan junk food, eh??!

9th July : Happy birthday, mummy. Had a little celebration @Cupcakes on Pitt. 6 cupcakes x 5 years......got my age??? hehe...doesn't feel like one, though....errr....
Again, mencapai matlamat utk try sume public transport, this time monorail...walaupun ada la kan kat Malaysia. This monorail stops at most famous attraction to Sydney....Paddy' market, Darling Harbour etc....so, since we took a daily pass, ada 3-4 kali round before boleh decide nak turun kat mana dulu.
On the way to Circular Quay, we stopped at this place....The National Opal Museum, kalu tak silap. Ushar sajo......
Circular Quay, I guess. Bosan seh ambik gambar berdiri tegak......ni antara try-to-be-different punya pics.... 
Then, we took a ferry to Manly....just to enjoy a view. Managed to caught a glimpse of dolphins on the way....and the seagulls punya banyak dok follow the ferry....as shown above..

10th July : Chinatown. I guess...sume org mesti ambik gambar kat sini....eh? Arni said she posed sbijik like me here....tapi takde la dukung anak...hehe...next time, yah...Arni..
Owh....agak penat kaki mengayuh benda ni.....Adelia the Explorer cam biasa bukan reti dok diam. Ada lagi struggle kayuh....lagi struggle mau keep her in place...

IMAX theatre. We watched a documentary about dolphin and whales. A hectic 45 minutes for me......bukan dpt concentrate on the movie pun, tapi layan Cik Adelia main kerusi...
11th July : we took a tour package to Blue Mountain....and several other places are included as well. This is Sydney Olympic Park....for the 2000 Olympic Games. These tiang2 contain names of volunteers....
@ Featherdale Wildlife Park : sangat best because boleh pegang2 and feed koalas, and kangaroos. And quite close encounters with most of the animals......Adelia patting koala....macam bear saya-lah....
Adelia fed the kangaroos sekali je...pastu...'tak nak...makan...sakit'...saying that kangaroo ni makan tangan dia....hehehe. Kangaroo lapor benar, eh. Hmmm....mak Adelia tukang ambik gambar aje...bukan berani nak dekat2...apa lagi bagi makan....

This is Blue Mountain.....so windy and sejuk.....
Three Sisters : Just a formation of rocks....but of course cam kita-nya Puteri Santubung and Sejenjang....they have a story about this. Something like...three sisters being cursed by Witch Doctor a.k.a their father, to protect them. But the father lost his magic, and couldn't transform them back. Well, at least that's what my tourist guide told us....you might be told different stories, maybe....
Scenic Walk......quite an interesting journey. Especially listening to a story of how transportation used for mining, being transformed into one that can bring people up and down the hill...due to the pressure of demand...ramai sgt tourist datang...and mintak tumpang naik train kecik yang angkut coal....
Leura village, in a candy shop. Just bought Adelia a lolly....mengejar masa, beb. Things about tour package, is you have to be so...so punctual. Or else....goodbye la ko dok atas gunung tu, balik sendiri. It's quite hard....because sometimes budak kecik cam Adelia bukan boleh timing bila masa she wants to do her 'business', eh.

12th July : Opera house......
The Rock weekend market.....I like!!!! Must try....jagung bakar.....ehehe...tengok semua orang lalu cam mesti try that. And ada gak stall jual chocolate strawberry....ala....cam Mak Iti suka itu...hehe. But I kind of like the stalls here....most are selling unique things....really recommend this place if you are looking for souvenirs, or collectible items.
The National Maritime Museum....must go...if you bring kids. Masuk percuma.......
Tada.....surprise...surprise. Accidentally reunite ngan member from Adelaide, Sapura and family....this time, with an additional family member...a newly born, Mohd Moslehuddin...(cam gitu ke spell???)

Last makan @ mamak, after 4 days in a row. Roti telur and teh tarik....errr...miss it....miss it...

While abi and mummy sedih all the way back, pasai we're back to reality....work...study, etc....this kid is so happy, because in Sydney...asyik2..'mummy, i want school', and boleh mengigau cakap ngan cikgu dia. It's quite a struggle to bring kids jalan2, eh....because they just want to play....and most of the time, we drag her along though she's tired-but-don't want to sleep. Better trip this time....because she got to watch some cartoons....cuma adakala lebih banyak explore dok menekan2 button tv...and headphone...
